18 Series of Unification Process

Knowledge through analysis and experimentation –perception–of both the individual consciousness and the collective unconscious. A necessary process for discovering and changing, if we want to, the structures of individual and group behavior.

An artistic, philosophical and scientifi c process carried through 18 highly differentiated series using a range of styles, forms and media, each one corresponding to one of the levels of the consciousness I acquired during the process of plastic exploration lasting from 1978 to 2006.

Expressionism as the creative starting point. 1978–1979

I began to break away from the classic pictorial tradition by entering the world of abstraction, after several years of representing from the life, where I concentrated on the study of formal plastic concepts, such as composition, structure, proportion, light, color and so on, during which time I began to master the techniques of drawing and painting, as well as some used in sculpture.
